He would play for the Houston Astros, New York Mets, Seattle Mariners, and Pittsburgh Pirates. Minor is now a captain with the Chandler, Arizona Fire Department, and volunteers as a pitching coach at Hamilton High School. Minor"s nephews, Jake and Daulton Jefferies, are baseball players.
Jake played in Minor League Baseball for the Miami Marlins" organization and Daulton is a pitcher for the California Golden Bears.
