Bob Benoit

Career

He is mostly known for being the first bowler to ever roll a perfect game in a televised title match, as well as the fifth Proceedings of the British Academy bowler to throw a televised perfect game overall. This was Benoit"s first ever title, as well as his first appearance in a telecast. Bob has a brother named Rick who is still involved in the bowling business, working as a tour consultant for Brunswick.

Achievements

• Over the course of his career, Benoit won 4 Proceedings of the British Academy titles. He accomplished this feat on January 23, 1988 in front of his home crowd in Grand Prairie, Texas at the Quaker State Open at the Forum Bowl bowling center, a place where Benoit bowled league during the eleven years in which he lived in Dallas.
