Bokukō Tsuchiyama was born in 1919 in Osaka, Japan.
Bokukō Tsuchiyama graduated from Literature Department of Greenhill University, and then studied at Postgraduate Department of Princeton Theological College.
Bokukō Tsuchiyama became assistant at Princeton Higher Scientific Research Institute and then served as professional associate of Foreign Evangelical Bureau of North America Liberal Methodist Church and professor of Seattle Pacific University. Returned home.
He became president of Osaka Christian Junior College. Held several additional posts including those of lecturer of Theological Department of Kwansei Gakuin University and pastor of Maruyama Christian Church in Osaka.
