Bonnie Dansie Parkin

Bonnie Dansie was raised in a Latter-day Saint home in Herriman, Utah. At the church"s April 2002 general conference, Parkin was sustained as general president of the Relief Society, succeeding Mary Ellen West. Smoot. Parkin held this position until March 31, 2007, when she was released and replaced by Julie B. Beck.
Membership
Parkin was also a member of the general presidency of the church"s Young Women organization from 1994 to 1997.
