He became the first Cambodian-foreigner of Cambodian League"s history to be appointed as captain of Cambodian team (he is actually captain of Football Club from 2014 after Kouch Sokumpheak left) He made his international debut in a Friendly Match against Bhutan on 20 August 2015.
