Career
He participated in the events of the Time of Troubles, commanded a detachment of free Cossacks. He was a member of the 1st and 2nd militia, participated in the liberation of Moscow from the Polish interventionists. After 1613, he supported Tsar Mikhail Romanov. After the Troubles he joined the Zvenigorod noble group. Fron the government for the service he received estates in the city of Alatyr and Voronezh county.
