Member, Editor Council, journal “Axkhiv anatomii, gistologii i embriologii” (Archive of Anatomy, Histology and Embryology). 1928-1930 discovered phytoncides, preventive agents produced by higher plants. Initiated study of immunity of embryos.
Works deal with experimental embryology, regeneration, cell division, etc. 1936-1947 Professor, Tomsk University. 1924-1955 at Institute of Experimental Medicine, now USSR Academy of Medical Science.
