1909 graduate Moscow Engineer College, Department of Means of Communication.
From 1909 worked on construction of various projects in Moscow, then on railroad. 1913-1934 taught at Moscow Engineer College, Department of Means of Communication (now Moscow Institute of Transport Engineer). From 1932 professor, Kuybyshev Military Engineer Academy.
From 1934 also professor, Moscow Architectural Institute. 1950-1956 member, Academy of Architecture. Worked on calculation of statically indefinite systems and flexibly-based beams by the elasticity theory method.
Also specialized in calculation of hydraulic installations.
