Boris Alekseevich Krepak graduated from the Department of Art History of the Faculty of History of the Saint Petersburg State University in 1965.
In 1965 Boris Alekseevich became a researcher at the State Art Museum of the BSSR and then during 1966-1970 he was an employee of the office of the Ministry of Culture of the BSSR. He also was the head of the creative sections, secretary of the Board of the Union of Artists of the BSSR.
Since 1994 Boris Alekseevich has been editor of the department, member of the editorial board of the republican newspaper "Culture". He is the author and compiler of more than 40 monographs, albums, collections and catalogs. Articles on the problems of national and world art were published in Bulgaria, Germany, India, Poland, France and other countries.
