Career
As a player, he is regarded as one of HNK Rijeka"s best forwards and he remains the club"s top scorer of all time. He was the club"s top scorer for five years. After eight seasons with Rijeka, he continued his career with Vitesse Arnhem in the Netherlands, where he remained successful as a forward.
Before coming to Rijeka he played with FK Proleter Zrenjanin and between his spells in Rijeka and Vitesse, he played two seasons with NK Zagreb.
