Career
She was a pupil of visual artist Edith Stoel in the Netherlands from 2000 to 2004. In Spain (2001–2005) she developed her particular style while being a pupil of Pieter Swinnen. Pieter Swinnen had joint exhibitions with Karel Appel, Corneille and Herman Brood.
Bouktje started her first exhibition in Spain in 2003.
Today she lives and works both in Spain and in the Netherlands. The country of Spain is her primary source of inspiration.
