Brad earned a Bachelor in English with a minor in Theater from the University of Kentucky, and a Master of Fine Arts in screenwriting from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts.

Career
Teaching Riddell taught Master of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Fine Arts screenwriting courses at University of Southern California for seven years. He then went on to teach undergraduate courses at State University of New York Oswego for one year, before joining DePaul"s School of Cinema and Interactive Media in 2012.
