He is currently playing with the Industry Fuel of the ECHL.
Brandon Wong played began his junior hockey career in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL), skating with the Surrey Eagles, Powell River Kings and Merritt Centennials from 2003 to 2006. While with the Centennials, Wong earned the BCHL"s 2006 Brett Hull Trophy, awarded to the player who scores the most points during the regular season. Wong was also named the BCHL Interior Conference Most Valuable Player for the 2005-2006 season.
Wong played collegiate hockey at Quinnipiac University for four years.
Following the conclusion of his senior season at Quinnipiac University, Wong signed an amateur tryout agreement with the American Hockey League"s Grand Rapids Griffins in March 2010. He skated with the Griffins for three games prior to signing with the Hartford Wolf Pack of the AHL. He was loaned to the Whale"s ECHL affiliate Greenville Road Warriors on November 9, 2010.
Wong skated in 64 games with the Road Warriors during their inaugural season, netting 46 points in 21 goals and 25 assists during regular season play. He also skated in 10 playoff games, scoring 2 goals and 2 assists for 4 combined points.
Wong scored the club"s first-ever hat trick in an 8–6 loss to the Gwinnett Gladiators on January 14, 2011.
He re-signed with the Road Warriors for the 2011-2012 season on August 15, 2011. After re-signing with the Road Warriors for the 2012-2013 season, Wong was named an Alternate Captain on October 19, 2012. On June 25, 2013, it was announced that Wong was relocating to Sweden to play the 2013-2014 season with Mörrums GoIS IK. On February 8th, 2016 Wong was traded to the Industry Fuel from the Tulsa Oilers.
