Pastor, Toronto and Montreal. Consecrated bishop Reformed Church of England, June 19, 1882, and elected bishop of Canada.
Resigned, 1891, and filled pastorates at Kansas City, Missoury, and Peoria, Illinois, until 1898, when retired. Pastor emeritus, Emmanuel Union Church, Lakeview, North Carolina Lecturer Emerson College of Oratory.
A founder, member Executive Board, and president, 1909, Victorian Club, Boston.
Member of council Actors’ Church Alliance. Lecturer Jamaican Institute, Jamaica, and commissioner from that island to the Pan-American Exposition, Buffalo, 1901. Removed to California, September 1921.
