Brendon Gale

Career

On 10 August 2009 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Richmond Football Club. Gale played for the Richmond Football Club from 1990 to 2001 as a centre half-forward and later ruckman. Their grandfather, Jack Gale, played three games for Richmond in 1924.

He was recognisable on the field with his long hair and strong physique which resembled Tarzan, one of the nicknames which fans gave him.

Achievements

• Their father, Don Gale, was a champion Tasmanian football player who became the first player from the NWFU to achieve All Australian selection.

Membership

He is the former Chief Executive Officer of the American Federation of Labor-Congress Players" Association and member of the American Federation of Labor-Congress"s "Laws of the Game" or Rules Committee.
