Sakas was crowned Mission Arizona United States of America on November 6, 2005, in Phoenix, Arizona. lieutenant was her first attempt at this title, although she had previously competed in the Mission Arizona 2004 pageant. This was only Arizona"s second placement since 1998.
Sakas is a 2002 graduate of Seton Catholic High School in Chandler, Arizona and a 2007 graduate of Arizona State University with a degree in Human Communication with an emphasis in speech communication and a minor in Family and Human Development.
Sakas is passionate about community involvement and has volunteered with a number of organizations, using her title to advance worthy causes, particularly the Arizona chapter of Habitat for Humanity. Sakas is the owner of Crowning Concepts, Limited Liability Company, a full-service pageant prep company specializing in private coaching, wardrobe consignment, and hair and makeup services.
She is also a professional actress, model, and host with the FORD/Robert Black Agency in Scottsdale, Arizona. Sakas married Nathan Heater on October 17, 2010.
