Brian Willmont expresses the main topic of his works, the influence of omnipresent technology, through the repeating and ever-changing patterns which are similar to wallpaper installations. Made mostly in pastel colors, Willmont’s refer to the temporal character of today’s lusts, obsessions, and addictions related to the abundance of the digital means of communication, like the internet, mobile phones, and various apps.
Lying on the line between commercial and fine art, Willmont’s art symbolizes the disease of the disconnection typical for our modern world of high technology.
