Career
He is the inventor of the xaphoon (also known as Maui xaphoon or bamboo saxophone), which he developed during the 1970s. Wittman is also a vocalist and instrumentalist, singing and playing saxophone and steelpan with Brian "Papa B." Wittman & the Cool Steel Band.
