He was born in September 4, 1859 on a farm Sudilovichi (the village Budkovschina, Polotsk district).

In 1871-1880 he studied at the Alexander Gymnasium of Riga.
In 1880-1886 he studied at the historical-philological faculty of St. Petersburg University.In 1887 he received a degree in History and Philology.
He worked in the editorial - "Journal of the Ministry of Railways." Later - in the library of St. Petersburg University
(until 1925). From 1907 to 1917 he also worked in the Catholic Theological Academy. He taught at a private boys' school in the Catholic parish of St. Catherine in St. Petersburg.
Bronislav Ignatievich was one of the leaders of the Belarusian public and political life of Saint Petersburg. He was also the leader of the Belarusian Scientific Literature Club of St. Petersburg University (1912-1917).
In July 18, 1930 he was arrested and banned to live and to work in Minsk.
In the autumn of 1930 he returned to Leningrad where he died in June 6,1934.Journal of
