Career
He entered parliament after winning the Northern Maori 1980 by-election, caused by the resignation of the previous incumbent, Matiu Rata. Gregory died on the 29 October 2015. The House paid tribute to Gregory with a moments silence during the parliamentary session on 3 November 2015.
