Bruce Holmes

He was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the twelfth round of the 1987 NFL Draft. Holmes played for the Minnesota Golden Gophers from 1983 to 1986. He was named First Team All-Big Ten in 1986 by the coaches.
He was the defensive Most Valuable Player of the 1985 Independence Bowl.

Holmes was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs with the 325th pick in the 1987 NFL Draft. He played in three games, all starts, for the Chiefs during the 1987 season.
