Career
He appeared in 8 films or television-episodes between 1977 and 2000. Ornstein began his career appearing in the classic 1977 film Saturday Night Fever. Since then, he has appeared in a number of films, television films, episodic television and plays.
Most recently, he co-wrote and directed the feature film, Vamperifica, for Blood River Productions which was released in 2012.
Vamperifica will also be presented opening night at the 2012 Rome Independent Film Festival in Italy. Bruce is widely known in New York City as a theatre director, and teacher.
He began the Bruce Ornstein Acting Workshop in 1997. He is currently an adjunct professor in the Columbia University Master of Fine Arts Program for Film.
