This is an insight into the idiosyncratic flourishes which make a house into a home. Photographer Bruce Weber takes the reader around the world, looking at how creative individuals' homes reflect their own particular personalities. Here are interiors and exteriors, panoramas and details: Siegfried and Roy's tiger-striped (and tiger-filled) Las Vegas suite; Georgia O'Keefe's ghost ranch in New Mexico; Chris Isaak's childhood home in suburban California; the Duchess of Devonshire's stately home in England; Andrew Wyeth's Maine lighthouse retreat; and Weber's own Montana ranch, among others.

(The 2004-2005 college basketball season provided Universi...)
The 2004-2005 college basketball season provided University of Illinois fans with some of the greatest moments in program history. In Head Coach Bruce Weber’s words and with his insights, Bruce Weber: Through My Eyes provides the Illini Nation with a behind-the-scenes look at one of the most amazing seasons in college basketball history, including a 29-0 start, 15 weeks atop the national rankings, an NCAA record-tying 37 victories and a compelling style of play that captivated the country. Through My Eyes also offers a revealing look at the man who orchestrated such an unforgettable season. Find out how Weber learned the game from a father who coached, the adjustments he needed to make to get the team to buy into his style when he first arrived at Illinois, how he kept his squad focused on St. Louis and the Final Four in the midst of a media circus, how he dealt with the pressure of being ranked #1, and how he was able to continue on as a coach and son despite the loss of his mother during the Big Ten tournament. Coach Weber shares his thoughts on the early-season win over Wake Forest that vaulted the Illini to the #1 ranking in the country. He comments on tough road wins over Wisconsin and Michigan State and the road trip to Purdue, where he squared off against his mentor, Gene Keady. Weber talks about the NCAA regional game against his alma mater, UW-Milwaukee, the amazing comeback against Arizona, the craziness of the Final Four, and Illinois’ battle against North Carolina in the national championship game. Bruce Weber: Through My Eyes takes you into the locker room and onto the court to learn firsthand the strategies and stories that made this an unforgettable Illinois season.

(This year, our journal explores the parallels between tra...)
This year, our journal explores the parallels between traditional perceptions of the natural world-as the realm of both the sublime and the forbidding-and the tensions that exist within our conceptualization of human nature. This lofty theme is illustrated through the works and observations of an eclectic cast of characters, in what has become the signature form of the All-American series. The journal features chapters devoted to Oatsie Charles, the notable Washington D.C. hostess and Newport socialite; Pr. Henry W. Kendall, a Nobel-prize winning physicist and accomplished alpine photographer; and the journalist David Halberstam, author of The Best and The Brighest. There will be a portfolio of all-new Bruce Weber rodeo photographs; a fantastic profile on The Ledges, the Cushing family estate; selected writings by the conservationist Bob Marshall; a gorgeous spread celebrating the artistry and style of Nina Simone; selected poems by Pulitzer-prize winner Stephen Dunn; travel photographs by Rob Born; and a personal tribute to Rabbi Zevulon Glixman, a leader known throughout the world for his good deeds and religious devotion. All-American VIII: Nature's Way is softbound, 180 pages in length. The print run is 5000 copies, first edition only. 100 duotone plates, 71 color plates.

(All-American V: Is Love Enough? is the latest installment...)
All-American V: Is Love Enough? is the latest installment in a series of limited edition art and literary journals created and published by Bruce Weber and Nan Bush. The goal of this Series is to celebrate the work of artists, essayists, photographers, poets and individuals who stand out as compelling examples of the American cultural experience. The provocative question posed by the title of All-American V: Is Love Enough? frames this book's thematic exploration of human devotion in its many forms. The centerpiece of this year's volume is a chapter devoted to the US Marine Corp, featuring original photography taken by Bruce Weber on the base at Camp Pendleton and extensive profiles of Sgt. Nick Popaditch, a Marine wounded in Baghdad, and Cpl. Jeff Boskovitch, who was killed in action in Iraq. Weber's photographs also appear in a career-spanning photo-essay on the Reverend Billy Graham. Additional chapters are dedicated to Mississippi civil rights activist Winson Hudson, rodeo photographer Louise Serpa, pulp fiction master Mickey Spillane, American playwright Tennessee Williams and painter Fairfield Porter. In a romantic nod to its title, this year's volume also features exclusive Henry Grossman photographs from the first marriage of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. All-American V is larger than preceding issues by over 50 pages. The softcover book is linen bound, and contains 192 pages, with 60 full color plates, and 40 duotones, with many images spanning two pages.
