Bruce William Newton, American Neuroscientist. Achievements include first person to map out the development of many neurotransmitter systems in the autonomic spinal cord; first person to describe a sexually dimorphic nucleus which is independent of androgen control. Recipient Regional 1st Prize Photomicroscopy Olympus Microscopes, 1992; research grantee National Science Foundation, 1992, National Institutes of Health, 1996.
