Nordberg, Bruno Victor was born on April 11, 1857 in Helsingfors, Finland. Son of Carl Victor and Dores (Hinze) Nordberg.

Career

Came to the United States, 1879, naturalized citizen, 1897. Manufacturer steam engine regulators, Milwaukee, 1891. Latter built motive power engines and machinery for mines, complete power plants, et cetera

President and chief engineer Nordberg Manufacturing Company Inventor of many machines and devices used throughout the world.

Built complete system of air compressors and hoists, operated with compressed air, covering the principal shafts in the Butte, Montana, mining camp. Built the first modern steam engines with equilibrium poppet valves in America.
