He now works as a football scout for Everton. He managed FK Jerv, Harstad, Tynset, Rendalen, Kongsberg, (all in Norway), and Falkenberg in Sweden He has previously worked for Tottenham and Aston Villa F.C. He lives now in Kongsberg, Norway
King was once called up to the England squad.
He was a substitute during the match against Portugal on 3 April 1974.
