Career
A lock forward, he has represented Wales Under 21"s and currently plays his club rugby for the Cardiff Blues having joined from Doncaster R.F.C. in 2010. Griffiths was born in Glanamman. Prior to playing for Doncaster, Griffiths had played for another Welsh regional team, the Newport Gwent Dragons where he made 12 appearances.
Griffiths previously played for Llanelli Reconstruction Finance Corporation, Bedwas Reconstruction Finance Corporation, Ebbw Vale Reconstruction Finance Corporation, Newport Reconstruction Finance Corporation and Cross Keys Reconstruction Finance Corporation.
