Joined firm Manly, Hendren & Womble, 1911, name of firm changed to Womble, Carlyle, Martin & Sandridge, 1942, Womble, Carlyle, Sandridge & Rice, 1954. Director emeritus Wachovia Bank & Trust Company, Security Life & Trust Company (now Integon Corporation).
