Buzennojo Tomimoto

Background

Buzennojo Tomimoto was born in 1716 in Japan.

Education

Buzennojo Tomimoto was first a disciple of Bungonojo Miyakoji and later of Mojidayu.

Career

In 1748 he established a new school in joruri whose tenets differed from those of the Tokiwazu school of thought. He received the title he is known by from the Takatsukasa family.
