Byoung Seung Ham, South Korean physicist. Achievements include discovery of quantum switch, photon logic gates, quantum memory using dark state echo; discovery of quantum wavelength conversion; first experimental demonstration of dark-resonance-enhanced nonlinear optical processes in solids; first experimental demonstration of Engineer-In-Training in solids; first light stop in solids.
