Pastor 1st Church, Waco, 1904-1906 (built church plant). Professor S.S. pedagogy and assistant in theology and Hebrew, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, 1906-1914. Pastor 1st Church, Greenwood, South Carolina., 1914-1917.

1st president Baptist Bible Institute, New Orleans, serving 1917-1928, professor New Testament exposition and Bible doctrines, since 1928. Wrote S.S. lesson notes for Baptist World 6 years. Member Conservation Commission Baptist 75 Million Campaign.
