She is an outfielder who bats left and throws right. In her youth, she played ice hockey. In her final year playing for the Georgia Technical Yellow Jackets softball team, she set team records for hits and on-base percentage.
She played for Canada at the 2008 Summer Olympics.
After graduation, she signed with the Chicago Bandits of National Pro Fastpitch. She currently resides in Buffalo, New New York
Her father is former National Hockey League player Don Lever.
She was born in Morristown, New Jersey when her father was a member of the New Jersey Devils.
