Career
A native of Goromonzi, Ngandu was the second child in a family of eight. His ancestral home is in Chiweshe. Ngandu began drawing in school, reaching secondary school before becoming a sculpture.
Although untutored, he has said that he learned his trade from watching Kennedy Migeri and Moses Masaya at work in their studios.
