This book seeks to lead the student in a unified manner through the entire process of broadcast news gathering and production, although the book has extensive coverage of broadcast newswriting. Beginning specifically in Chapter 5, it approaches writing as one element in a unified process. This book should be of interest to undergraduates of broadcast journalism; students of mass communications, basic newswriting and reporting.
