Carl M. Vogel, American former state legislator. Named one of Ten Outstanding Young Missourians, Junior Chamber of Commerce, 1990. Member of Young Men’s Christian Association, National Soft Drink Association, Missouri Soft Drink Association (secretary), Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club West, Jefferson City Junior Chamber of Commerce (Distinguished Service award 1994), Host Lions Club, Knights of Columbus.


Vogel, Carl M. was born on March 7, 1955 in Jefferson City, Missouri, United States.


He graduated from Helias High School and later from the University of Missouri with a B.A. degree.


President, general manager Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Jefferson City, since 1983. Board member Central Trust Bank. Member board regents St. Mary's Hospital.

Member District 114 Missouri House of Representatives, 1991—2002. Member District 6 Missouri State Senate, 2003—2010.


Previously he was a member of the Missouri House of Representatives from 1991 through 2000. He is a member of the St. Joseph Cathedral, the Lions Club, the Jaycees, the Knights of Columbus, and the Rotary Club. He is currently the chair of the Way and Means Committee, vice chair of the Small Business, Insurance and Industrial Relations Committee, and a member of the Economic Development, Tourism and Local Government Committee.
