Carol Huebner received a Bachelor of Arts in 1970 from Antioch College, Yellow Springs, Ohio, and a Master of Fine Arts in 1978 from Rochester Institute of Technology.
Carol Huebner also served as an assistant to Robert Sobieszek. She was an instructor of photography and offset printing at William Paterson College, Wayne, New Jersey. As a curator she organized the shows "Small Press Books," at the University of Rochester's Rush Rhees Gallery, in 1979, and "Photographs by David Levinthal," at George Eastman House, in 1978. Carol Huebner also does research on 19th-century photographic history, including original research on the Thomas Brumby Johnston Album.
