Carolyn Edwards was born on November 11, 1954, in Carmel. She is the daughter of Alan Verne Edwards, and Madeleine Louise Edwards, both teachers.

Education

Carolyn Edwards received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California. She also got a Master of Education at Holy Names College (nowadays Holy Names University).

Career

Carolyn Edwards is a teacher and a storyteller from Oakland. She has written four well-known books: The Return of the Light: Twelve Tales from Around the World for the Winter Solstice, The Storyteller's Goddess: Tales of the Goddess and Her Wisdom from Around the World, In the Light of the Moon: Thirteen Lunar Tales from Around the World Illuminating Life's Mysteries and Sun Stories: Tales from Around the World to Illuminate the Days and Nights of Our Lives.

Her first book was written in 1991.
