She appeared in television films such as Gaucho (1983), The Mimosa Boys (1983), Ibiza, Ibiza (1986) and Steddfod, Steddfod (1989), which inspired her comedy television series Caryl (1983-1987). Until spring 2014 she co-hosted the breakfast show on British Broadcasting Corporation Radio Cymru with Dafydd Du.
