Education
Catalin studied at Politechnica University in Bucharest, Romania. In 1994 he received a degree of the Master of Science in Digital Signal Processing. In seven years he became a Doctor of Philosophy.
Career
Catalin worked as a Forensic scientist in the Ministry of Justice from 2002 to 2010. In 2006 he became a Deputy Director in the Ministry of Justice. From 2007 to 2010 Catalin was a Chairman of the forensic speech audio analysis working group in ENFSI.
