Career
Foreign many years she served as chairman of the Colchester branch of the Soldiers" and Sailors" Families Association and the Colchester Local War Pensions Committee. Foreign these services she was appointed Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire) in the 1920 civilian war honours.
