Forss made her debut in the film "Dalecarlians", 2004. Then in 2008, she became popular for her role as Cindy in the ICA commercials. The same year Cecilia wrote a scenario and staged the satirical humor show "Almost Like Boys" together with El-Refai and Maud Lindström.
In summer 2009, she participated in a radio comic series "Kungen kommer till Rissne" with Alexander Salzberger and Mathias Olsson. She also participated in Kanal5 series "Balls of Steel". In autumn the same year Forss was a television anchorwoman in "Silent Library" on Channel 5 with Martin Soneby.
In 2010 she got her international recognition playing Jennifer in the film "Simple Simon". In August 2011 Forss was a "Sommarpratare" in Sommar i P1 on Sveriges Radio. The same year she worked as an assistant for the television anchorman Pär Lernström in the TV-show "Idol".
Since 2012 she has been a goodwill ambassador for the Child Cancer Foundation. Also in 2013, she participated in the play "De 39 Stegen" at Intiman in Stockholm.
In addition, she worked as a model for the "Chic", Swedish magazine.
