Hart has been married to actor James Earl Jones since 1982, with whom she has one child, Flynn Earl Jones. Hart co-starred with Jones in the short-lived 1979-1980 Columbia Broadcasting System police drama Paris. She was formerly married to actor Bruce Weitz from 1971 to 1980.
