She takes part in the Turkey women"s national ice hockey team She is 1.61 m (5 ft 3 1⁄2 in) tall at 52 kg (115 lb). Ceren Alkan was born in Çankaya, Ankara on April 8, 1990.
She is student of Physics at the Middle East Technical University in her hometown.
Ceren Alkan began her sports career with figure skating at the age six, and became 18 times international. Club 2012-2013 Turkish Regional Ice Hockey Tournament with Milenyum Paten Saskatchewan 2013-2014 Turkish Ice Hockey Women"s League with Milenyum Paten Saskatchewan International In 2011, she played at the Winter Universiade held in Erzurum, Turkey.
She was part of the national team at the 2013 IIHF Women"s World ship Division II Group B qualification matches in Izmir, Turkey, scoring a goal in the game against Ireland. In March 2014, she was called up again for the national team
