Career
An accurate fast-medium bowler, Sayers was the leading wicket-taker in the 2012-2013 Sheffield Shield, with 48 wickets at 18.52. He played several matches for Australia A in 2013 and 2014. He suffered an ankle injury in December 2014 which required surgery.
He returned to the South Australian team in November 2015.
Having previously played for Woodville, Sayers now plays for Glenelg in the Adelaide Grade Cricket competition.
