A reader of spiritual pravachanams on various puranams and epics like Srimad Ramayanam, Srimad Bhagavatham, Soundaryalahari, Lalithasahasranama strotram etc, his discourses are widely followed and are telecast over television channels such as Bhakti television and TTD and is quite popular among the telugu speaking people all over the world. Chaganti Koteswara Rao garu is born in a brahmin family to (Late) Sri Chaganti Sundara Siva Rao and (Late) Srimati Suseelamma on 14th July 1959. His father was a noble person who worked as school head master and used to spend some part of his salary for the education of poor people.
