Achievements include research in establishment of hydrochemistry and origin of CO²-rich springs in Korea; research in establishment of long-term management plan of groundwater in Daejeon City; research in sorption removal of heavy metals and radionuclides by clay minerals; research in water-rock interaction and hydrochemistry in the radioactive waste disposal candidate site in Korea.
