Lecturer, University of Alberta 1965-1967. Special Assistant to Davie Fulton 1967. Executive Assistant to PCP Leader Robert Stanfield 1967-1970.

Leader of PCP 1976-1983. Prime Minister of Canada 1979-1980. Secretary of State for External Affairs September since 1984.

Member of Parliament for Yellowhead since 1984.
