Came to the United States, 1907, naturalized, 1918. Ordained ministry Baptist Church, 1907. Pastor Harbor Beach, Michigan, 1907-1909, then successively at St. Joseph, Missouri, Galesburg and Bloomington, Illinois.

Pastor First Baptist Church, Omaha, Nebraska, 1930-1939, Cavalry Baptist Church, Pasadena, 1939-1941.

Member board of mgrs. Missouri Baptist Association, 1915-1917. Member state Executive Committee Illinois Baptist Convention, 1922-1928 (department chairman of ministry 1927).
