Fischetti was called a notorious Chicago gangster in the Federal Bureau of Investigation files. He was the mob"s political fixer in Chicago. He was also First Rate (at Lloyd's) Capone"s cousin and his reputed consigliere.
Fischetti attended the 1946 Havana Conference of Cosa Nostra leaders and received the "murder contract" on Bugsy Siegel.
Charles Fischetti died nine days later, before he could testify. He died in his Miami Beach home of a heart attack, according to his physician.
