When governments implement the capital punishment, then the life of the convicted is devalued and all possibilities of change education.
In a society where self-interest, acquisitiveness and individual happiness are often seen as the over-riding interests, the Church, and Christians within it, are called to witness meanings, values and purposes beyond ourselves. Small groups inside the Methodist Church should be developed. Thus all members of “societies” could receive support and be challenged in their faith.
